Dr. Daniel J. Para
COBE is proud to have Dr. Daniel J. Para and his surgical practice at Camelback 101 Professional Plaza. Dr. Para is a board-certified specialist in general and laparoendoscopic surgery. A Chicago native, Dr. Para made Arizona his home in 1998. Dr. Para earned an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He went on to complete his integrated surgical residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix, the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, the Veterans Administration Medical in Phoenix, Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Para performs surgery for cancers of the breast, colon, esophagus and stomach, and is proficient in upper endoscopy and colonoscopies.

Dr. Para has been providing surgical services to patients for the past 19 years and is dedicated to a team approach. “We work together to make sure the patient completely understands the procedures that will be performed, so you are comfortable before entering the hospital.”
Dr. Para and his wife Maria share four beautiful children ages 5- 9 with two boys, Max and Ben, and two girls, Olivia and Natalie. Currently, Maria, a registered nurse, is working in Dr. Para's office as a billing transmitter, office manager, and RN. In his leisure time, Dr. Para enjoys golfing and is a Chicago White Sox fan.
